Cognac colour leather lounge chair made by high end Finnish company Peem Oy in the 1970's. Very comfortable and in good condition. Height is 91 cm. Peem Oy was a Finnish furniture factory operating in Lahti from 1967 to 1985, and was a significant manufacturer of leather-upholstered sofa furniture in the late 1970s.The company's business idea was to offer luxurious and soft leather sofas, armchairs and other leather-upholstered furniture to affluent Finnish homes and to export markets. The Aquarius product line, designed by Matti Halme, was also sold in the United States and Japan, among other places. Other of Peem's best-known collections were Lunahod and the red leather-upholstered bedroom furniture Salome. SOLD
